Hobbs’ Textbook Racist Record

Katie Hobbs wants credit for fighting racism. Start with Talonya Adams — the Black Senate policy adviser Hobbs helped fire after Adams asked why she was paid less than white male colleagues. Two federal juries found race and sex discrimination. After Hobbs’ campaign apology video, Adams said: “Is Katie Hobbs a racist as defined by the Oxford dictionary? Yes, she is.”

Then the photo-op: Hobbs invited advocacy groups to her CROWN Act signing, and Rachel Dolezal — the white woman who pretended to be Black — walked in with the guests. Hobbs’ office cropped her out of the official picture. The scandal stayed in the room.

In the 2022 Democratic primary she wouldn’t even debate Latino former Nogales Mayor Marco Lopez on the PBS stage. As governor she vetoed SB 1305, which barred teaching that kids are racist by skin color, and later vetoed SB 1694 to keep DEI race ideology funded at state colleges.

That’s not allyship. That’s a textbook on how to lecture about race while protecting racial grievance politics — and stiffing the Black woman who asked for equal pay.
