WHAT THE BILL DID: The final vetoed version would mandate each governing board member have at least the same level of access to the school district office facilities and staff during regular business hours as any school district office employee and prohibit a school district from limiting a governing board member's access to school district office facilities by requiring them to be accompanied by or to seek authorization from a school district employee.
